Linnea Axengren moved to the United States at 20 years old on an academic and athletic scholarship.

In Florida, she competed at the collegiate level, won 2 national championships in soccer, and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship.

She later completed a Master's degree in Ethics and Organizational Behavior before moving to New York City, where she worked at the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce.

College sports is an experience unlike any other.

On the bus to an away game, trying to study for an exam. At practice, pushing through when your body is asking for rest. On the bench, wondering when your chance will come. In rehab, watching your team compete while you sit out.

It’s also the team dinners, the locker room energy, the bus ride celebrations, and Saturday nights after getting the W.

College sports are challenging, rewarding, and unforgettable.

You want it all. To perform, to feel important, to belong, to get good grades, to make the most of the opportunity you fought for. Balancing it all isn't always easy, but it's part of what makes college so unique.

I've been there. And I know that not every challenge can be solved with an extra workout or a better game plan.

Even when you're surrounded by teammates, coaches, and support systems, there are moments when it helps to talk to someone who understands the experience firsthand.

That's the space I want to create, a place for support, perspective, and growth throughout the college journey.

My college experience didn't end at graduation. It's what inspired the BDA Project.
